Help homeless animals of western MT
The Humane Society of Western Montana is financially independent and relies almost entirely on donations, grants and fundraising events to support our organization. Your donation will go directly toward the care of homeless animals and help us provide a wide range of other services for the community- services like our pet food bank, low-income spay/neuter program, free pet behavior helpline, camp for kids, and a free adoption program for senior citizens.
Its costs about $270 to care for each animal during his or her stay with us, yet adoption fees only cover a small portion of that cost. Your donations allow us to provide top-notch care while keeping adoption an affordable option for everyone.
Since 1963 the Humane Society of Western Montana has provided temporary care and a safe haven for over 100,000 animals in need. With your continued support we look forward to many more years of saving over 1200 pets annually and guaranteeing the adoption of every pet in the shelter, regardless of age, beauty or how long it takes.
There are a number of ways you can contribute to HSWM:
Make a planned gift (a gift from your estate)
Make a donation in honor or memory of a loved one (person or pet)
Please call our Development Officer at 406.381.7477 for more information about how your donation can help us provide quality care and education. The Humane Society of Western Montana is a non-profit corporation. All donations are deductible to the full extent of the law.
