Other Ways to Give
Workplace Giving
HSWM participates in a number of workplace giving campaigns. If you work for the State of Montana, the University of Montana, or the federal government, you can give through payroll deduction. Your contribution is taken out of your paycheck and sent directly to HSWM.
Employer Matching Gifts
Matching gifts are an easy way to double a charitable contribution. Thousands of companies across the US (and right here in western Montana) match their employees’ gifts to non-profits. If your employer does not offer this benefit, encourage them to do so. If your employer does offer a matching gift program, contact the personnel officer and request a copy of the matching gift form. Complete the form and send it to us along with your donation. We’ll take care of the rest. Does your employer offer a matching gift program? If so, email us so we can add them to our list.

Creative Fundraising
- Have a garage or bake sale and donate the proceeds to HSWM
- Create a fundraising page at First Giving and raise money for HSWM online
- Attend one of our fundraising events
- Ask for donations to HSWM in place of presents for birthday, anniversary, Christmas or other holidays.
- Contribute extra change in our Pennies for Pets jars located at businesses throughout Missoula
- Have a pet food and supply drive at your workplace
- Buy a 2010 HSWM calendar for yourself and your friends and family.
Donate a Kuranda Dog Bed
Our dogs love to sleep on Kuranda Dog beds, but we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price to allow another dog to sleep in comfort, please donate a Kuranda dog bed.
